About the event
A Jewish teacher is fired by his progressive Jewish Board for not being “balanced enough” to
continue teaching his course in Israeli/Palestinian issues. He decides to fight back. The play
deals with contemporary classroom issues such as educational bias and bullying – issues which
are being faced across our country and around the world today. Although the play’s themes are
dark, Morgenstern’s play is laced with humor and light self-reflection.
